What There Was Not to Tell: A Story of Love and War by author Edie Clark is based on letters Edie's parents exchanged during WWII and letters to her mother from the man who hoped to marry her when he returned from war, as did her father. The book is a quest to better understand her parents and the magnitude of war's loss.

Travel down a swirling Arctic River by kayak, back pack across the flower covered tundra, and retrace the early fur trade routes by canoe. Veteran guide, U.S. Forest Service Ranger, professional photographer, and long time resident of Gilford, Ned Therrien brings a lifetime of experience working and living in the outdoors.
