Want to receive email updates on what's happening for teens at the library? An email goes out about once a month or so letting teens and their parents know about special events designed just for teens. What to Read?
One of the best ways to find a good book is to talk to your friends. What are they reading? What did they like about a particular author? Is there a series that really grabbed their interest?
Want to find out what teens around the country are reading? Go to the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA) website www.ala.org/yalsa for listings of best books, fabulous films and amazing audiobooks just for teens. Plus, special awards are given each year such as: www.ala.org/morris the Morris Award for best debut novel for teens and www.ala.org/yalsa/nonfiction for best nonfiction for teens.
